Seafood Restaurant Tsubaki
We cook and serve delicious local fish that comes fresh from our indoor pond.
We proudly present our seafood dishes.

- Tsubaki set menu -

A plentiful set menu of seasonal sashimi; bony parts of fish, stewed in a thick soy sauce, sugar and cooking rice wine; rice; miso soup with mekabu (flowering sprout of wakame seaweed); and pickles. These dishes of sashimi and richly flavored bony parts of fish will stimulate your taste buds.

- Horse mackerel set menu -

This set is presented as a whole horse mackerel sashimi, rice, miso soup and pickles. Savor the bountiful fresh horse mackerel.

- Bowl of rice topped with deep-fried shrimp -

Three deep-fried fresh shrimps, so large that they jut out of the bowl, are placed on rice and special sauce is poured over. This voluminous rice bowl is very popular among all guests especially men.

- Bowl of rice topped with sashimi seasoned with sweet soy sauce -

Fresh seasonal raw fish is soaked thoroughly in our secret soy sauce recipe.
The salty-sweet sauce intensifies the flavor of the fish. This richly flavored dish goes well with rice.

- Bowl of rice topped with Amakusa Daio Chicken and eggs -

Amakusa Daio is one of the largest free range chicken breeds in Japan. We cook this local delicacy and serve in a rice bowl with eggs and vegetables. Enjoy the resilient texture and rich flavors of the chicken reared in abundance amidst the nature here in Amakusa.
